Transitional Living Room

Lauren was ready to get the red out of her living room, but she didn't know where to start. Working together in her Newton, Massachusetts home, we brainstormed different color directions and settled on a beautiful combination of blue with hints of rusty orange. Lauren faced some challenges when it came to new decor; as a mother of three boys and a husband who has mobility issues, new furniture had to be bulletproof and all floor coverings have to be very low pile. A new sofa, rug, window treatments, console table, game chairs and paint color were all necessary. Together, we came up with a fresh design scheme that's practical for a growing family without breaking the bank.
